Services

At Two River Chimney Services, one call does it all. From your first phone call to project completion, we work hard to save you time, money, and headaches. Our goal is to make the fireplaces and chimneys of our neighbors safer and more enjoyable — through total chimney and fireplace care, cleaning, and repair.

We know chimney systems inside and out. We know what it takes to repair and restore them, what needs to be done to prevent future problems, and how to update your system so it looks and performs exactly the way you want. Whatever challenge you're facing — from a routine sweep to a full chimney rebuild — you can count on Two River Chimney Services to get it done right.

We are CSIA certified, NFI certified, and members of the National Chimney Sweep Guild (NCSG). Annual chimney maintenance is essential — especially in New Jersey's climate — to ensure your fireplace or wood stove is safe and ready when you need it most. Chimney fires are one of the leading causes of household fires, and regular maintenance is your best defense.

A split image showing two different scenes. The left side depicts an underground brick tunnel or chimney with rough, old bricks, dark shadows, and a narrow opening at the bottom. The right side shows a plain, beige-colored wall with an air vent or small window, slightly dusty or foggy appearance, with minimal detail.

Other than sweeps and inspections our service repairs include:

· Masonry Repair & Chimney Rebuilds — Masonry chimneys are strong, but sometimes mortar joints recede or crack, brick spalls and pops, and chimneys deteriorate. Whether you need repointing work done, brick replaced, or a total chimney rebuild, you can count on Top Cat Chimney Sweep to do the job quickly and to provide professional and attractive results. We also offer masonry waterproofing services, which can protect your newly repaired or rebuilt chimney, and keep water from damaging it in the future.

· Chimney Relining — The liner of the chimney is one of the most important components, as it contains and vents smoke and gas produced by the fireplace, stove, or furnace, and prevents heat from encountering nearby combustibles like wooden framing. Unfortunately, clay tile liners can crack and fall into the chimney, leaving the chimney unsafe and inefficient. If liner damage is a concern in your home or if your chimney was built without a liner, we can reline with stainless steel for a lifetime of protection.

· Leaky Chimney Repair — Have you heard water dripping down into your chimney, noticed pooling water in your firebox, or spotted rust streaks on your chimney or roof? It is time to schedule an inspection! Chimney leaks can quickly destroy more than just your chimney, but we can put a stop to your leak quickly and help prevent future leaks. From chimney waterproofing to chimney cap installation, chase cover installation, and crown repairs and rebuilds, we are ready to tackle any leak, no matter how big or small.

· Smoke Chamber Repair — Have you stopped using your fireplace because of all the smoke that backdrafts into your home when you light a fire? We repair smoke chambers and parge them smooth so that smoke can quickly funnel up into your chimney and out of your home and prevent heat or sparks from finding their way through any spaces or gap that may lead to combustibles.

· Damper Replacement — Tired of feeling all the cold or hot air (depending on the season) coming down into your home through your fireplace opening? We can help. We install top-sealing dampers. These dampers are more energy efficient and are installed at the top of your chimney, rather than in the throat. These dampers are easy to open and close and they provide protection against water, conditioned air loss, and downdrafts!

· Fireplace Makeovers — Is an outdated fireplace preventing your space from looking as good as it could? Is your fireplace more of a heat loser than a heat producer? We can help. From rebuilding your firebox to updating your fireplace facing and installing a new, highly efficient fireplace insert or stove, at Top Cat Chimney Sweep we have the experience, knowledge, and skill to makeover your fireplace.

These are just some of our focus points but any other issues, concerns or questions about either your fireplace or chimney please reach out to us either at 732-861-7700 or at Contact@TwoRiverChimneyServices.comWe will take care of all your fireplace and chimney needs!
